She’s a former nurse turned wellness coach for other nurses, based right here in Lehi, UT – and her business is all about helping caregivers feel supported, seen, and encouraged to take care of themselves. For her brand session, she wanted photos that felt natural and approachable, with a calm, welcoming vibe that matched her work. Nothing too stiff, nothing overly polished. Just images that felt like her.

Planning a Branding and Headshot Session That Feels Natural

Once we talked about her vision, I knew the perfect place to shoot Mandy’s personal branding session. We chose a natural light photography studio in Lehi. I love to use natural light studios because they’re so versatile! If you’ve ever worried about your brand photos looking boring or “samey,” a bright, clean space is one of the best ways to add variety while keeping everything cohesive. They often have mini rooms with different furniture, props, and wall textures — perfect for creating variety without changing locations.
