When restaurants start looking for a food photographer. It usually comes from one of two places. Either the food looks incredible in person but falls flat online. The brand is growing and the visuals finally need to match the level of care happening in the kitchen. That’s where I come in. I’m a professional food photographer based in Utah, and I work with restaurants, restaurant groups, chefs, and food brands who want images that actually sell the experience of their food. Not overly styled. Not trendy for the sake of trends. Just intentional, beautiful food photography that makes people hungry.

One of the biggest misconceptions about restaurant food photography is that it has to be chaotic or disruptive to service. So I have created a process is designed to be hands off, while still giving full creative control. I bring a fully mobile studio directly to your restaurant so there’s no need to transport food off site or adjust your workflow. I arrive with professional lighting to create a clean, controlled environment that flatters the food. No matter what the existing light looks like in your space. This allows us to create consistent, high end images that work for websites, menus, social media, delivery platforms, and marketing campaigns.
I also bring a curated collection of non reflective backdrops and surfaces so every dish has a polished, distraction free place to shine. These backdrops photograph beautifully and keep the focus where it belongs, on the food itself. Whether you want a bright, modern look or something moodier and more editorial, we can dial in a visual style that fits your restaurant brand. I will make your food look the way it deserves to look, not to force it into a one size fits all aesthetic.

During every food photography session, I shoot tethered. That means the images appear live on a larger screen as we’re shooting. You can see exactly how the food is being photographed in real time. This is one of the biggest advantages for chefs and restaurant owners. I don’t want any surprises happening once I deliver the gallery to you. I can make adjustments on the spot, tweak plating, change angles, or refine lighting until everything feels right. You don’t have to hover, but you’re always welcome to step in and give feedback if something isn’t matching your vision.
What really sets my food photography apart, though, is that I genuinely love food. This isn’t just a technical job for me. I care deeply about the craft behind each dish and the story it tells. Food is art. It’s culture. It’s hours of testing, refining, and passion on a plate. I always have the goal to honor that work by creating images that invite people in. Make them want to experience it for themselves. When someone scrolls past your restaurant online, I want them to stop. I want them to feel something. I want them to book a table, place an order, or save your menu for later.

I work with small independent restaurants, established restaurant groups, and food brands who need professional food photography that aligns with their brand and business goals. Some sessions are focused entirely on hero dishes and menu updates. Others are a mix of food photography and behind the scenes images of chefs in action to give customers a fuller sense of the experience. I plan each shoot intentionally so the final images can be used across multiple platforms, from your website to Instagram to third party delivery apps. As a restaurant food photographer I’ve loved working with brands like: Rockwell Ice Cream, Christopher’s Prime, Hello Sugar, The Andrus family for a cookbook, and The Heirloom Group.
If you’re searching for a food photographer who understands the restaurant industry, respects your time, and knows how to create mouthwatering images that convert, this is what it looks like to work with me. I bring the studio to you. I guide the creative process without taking it over. And I treat your food like the culinary art it is.
